Trophy fees are quoted and payable in US$ or Euro.

In Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia all day fees and trophy prices are quoted and payable in US$ or Euro.

In Burkina Faso all day fees and trophy prices are quoted and payable in Euro.

Deposit payment:

A deposit is payable on confirmation of booking. There will be no refund on any deposit paid, unless the hunt is cancelled no less than 6 months prior to the first day of the hunt. In the event of the hunt being cancelled prior to this date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

The balance is due at the commencement of the hunt.  Trophy fees are payable at the end of the hunt and include animals wounded and lost.

The day fees include the following:

  • Accommodation on hunting concessions
  • All meals and soft drinks
  • Laundry service at hunting concessions
  • Road transport and pick up and drop off at airports (except for specified concessions in Zambia)
  • 4×4 Hunting vehicle
  • Skinners and trackers
  • Field preparation of trophies
  • Services of qualified Dangerous Game Professional Hunters registered with PHASA and ACP (CONFIRMÉ)

The day fees exclude the following:

  • Airfares
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Hunting-licenses
  • Trophy fees
  • Dipping, packing and crating of trophies (included only in Zambia)
  • Government tax on day fees and trophy fees if applicable
  • CITES permits if applicable
  • TOPS permits if applicable (only South Africa)
  • Transport and shipping of trophies
  • Taxidermy
  • Personal insurance
  • Medical evacuation insurance
  • Personal expenses
  • Rifles and ammunition if needed

All animals wounded or shot in water and lost must be paid for in full.

Only male animals may be taken (penalty for female animals shot) and the client is ultimately responsible for his shot.

There are no hidden costs.  Gratuities for the skinners, trackers and guides will be appreciated.

All prices are subject to government changes without notice.

Liability:

While every effort will be made to safeguard you and your property members and staff of African Echo Safaris CC and or any of its associate companies, or organizations, or persons acting for or on its behalf, shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether caused directly or indirectly by delays, sickness, injury, death or loss or damage to property, whether occurred by negligence or not, or any expenses arising there from.

Clients agree to abide to the decision of the Professional Hunter to shoot any animal with his rifle, if in his discretion, this animal holds and represents a threat to human life or if wounded, needs to be put out of its misery. Such animals will be charged in full and paid for at the end of the safari together with the other animals taken.

All visual footage taken during the safari may be used for promotional and/or publicity purposes by African Echo Safaris CC.

Although the field preparation and skinning of trophies are done at the hunting concession, no liability or responsibility will be accepted for any damage, loss or mistreatment of trophies. While every effort will be made for your trophies to arrive in the best condition possible, African Echo Safaris CC cannot be held responsible for any mistakes or damage during the packing, crating or shipping of trophies.
