Geographical position

The concession is situated in the Marrupa District which is in the Niassa Province of Mozambique. This concession has two rivers flowing through it, namely the Messalo and Niorenge rivers. The concession is approximately 1 hour by charter plane from Pemba Airport. Please refer to the map provided.

Trophies available

We will mainly focus on Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Sable, Hippopotamus, Nile Crocodile, Spotted Hyena, Niassa Wildebeest, Livingstone’s Eland, Livingstone’s Suni, Sharpes Grysbok, Greater Kudu, Waterbuck, Lichtenstein’s Hartebeest, Chobe Bushbuck, Common Reedbuck, Burchell’s Zebra, Warthog and Yellow Baboon.


The accommodation consists of a well-equipped tent-camp with bathroom and other basic facilities.

Arms ammunition and hunting conditions

The recommended minimum caliber for Buffalo and Elephant is a .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. For Elephant a .416 caliber as a minimum would be more preferable. Hunting is done by walking and stalking.

Climate and vegetation

It is always hot and fairly humid. The heat reaches its peak in October and November which is also the last hunting months.

Clothing and gear

During the months of September to November light clothing can be worn during the day and a light jacket at night. Please bring long-sleeve shirts because it’s good protection against mosquitoes at night around the campfire. Do not forget your pair of well-worn boots, a hat and sunscreen.

This is a Malaria area. Please take precaution. Insect repellent is strongly advisable during the warmer months. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is compulsory.
