ZAMBEZI DELTA
Geographical position
The concession is situated in the Zambezi Delta which is in the Sofala Province of Mozambique. This delta and the river which flows through it comprise of a fast swamp area which hosts thousands of the biggest Buffalo in Africa. The camp is located along the Cuncue River. The concession is approximately 1 hour by charter plane from Beira Airport. Please refer to the map provided.
Trophies available
We will mainly focus on Buffalo, Hippopotamus, Nile Crocodile, Sable, Livingstone’s Eland, Greater Kudu, Nyala, Lichstentein’s Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Chobe Bushbuck, Livingstone’s Suni, Common Reedbuck, Warthog and Yellow Baboon.
Accommodation
The accommodation consists of a well-equipped chalet-camp with bathroom and other basic facilities.
Arms, ammunition and hunting conditions
The recommended minimum caliber for Buffalo and Hippo is a .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. Hunting is done by walking and stalking.
Climate and vegetation
It is always hot and fairly humid. The heat reaches its peak in November which is also the last hunting month.
Clothing and gear
During the months of June to November light clothing can be worn during the day and a light jacket at night. Please bring long-sleeve shirts because it’s good protection against mosquitoes at night around the campfire. Do not forget your pair of well-worn water-friendly boots, a hat and sunscreen.

This is a Malaria area. Please take precaution. Insect repellent is strongly advisable during the warmer months. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is compulsory.
